The Yemeni specification and quality-control authority on Monday held a meeting, chaired by Executive Director Sam al-Bashiri, to discuss coordination and cooperation with the private sector and dates suppliers. The conveners decided to form a committee to ease difficulties faced by dates suppliers and traders, and crystalize a plan to improve work so as to help the traders and consumers and achieve balance needed for boosted commercial and economic activity.
