The Board of Directors of the Yemeni Olympic Committee approved holding a workshop for the concerned authorities and sports federations to discuss the draft of new amendments to the basic system of the federations in a way that ensures its development to keep pace with developments and guarantees its independence. This came during a meeting of the Committee's Board of Directors in person and electronically at the Committee's headquarters in Sana'a, headed by the Committee's Chairman, Abdulrahman Al-Akwa.
