The Yemeni Authority for Standardization, Metrology, and Quality Control conducted on Wednesday a field visit to inspect gas filling stations in Ibb province and food facilities in both Ibb and Dhamar provinces. The inspection in Ibb focused on central gas stations and some in Dhale' province to ensure compliance with proper cylinder weights. The visit to food facilities in Dhamar aimed to verify adherence to Yemeni standard specifications and involved collecting samples for testing. Eng. Ibrahim al-Ashwal, Director of the Authority's Ibb branch, stated that legal action will be taken against those tampering with legal calibres and urged citizens to report violations using the Authority's toll-free number 8001222 or branch director 781001729 Dr. Yahya al-Dabai, Director of the Dhamar branch, noted that the campaign also included providing technical support and guidance to facility owners to enhance market competitiveness.
