Yarmouk University (YU) and Malaysian University College of Yayasan Pahang (UCYP) discussed, on Wednesday, ways to enhance the existing joint academic cooperation. The YU President, Dr. Islam Massad, stressed the importance of continuing the current cooperation with Pahang Foundation in Malaysia within the signed memorandum of understanding (MoU), which aims to implement the twinning program between the Malaysian side and YU's College of Sharia for Islamic Studies. Noting the "distinguished" academic level of Malaysian students enrolled at the university, he expressed the YU's readiness to receive more Malaysian students, especially in the specializations of Islamic Sharia and Arabic language. For her part, CEO of Pahang Foundation, Ainul Hayati Binti Yuni, valued the YU's interest paid to the Malaysian students enrolled in its programs, which enabled them to achieve academic excellence and enhance their skills in the Arabic language.
