Taiz governorate on Tuesday saw the kickoff of a UNICEF-funded training workshop for the nutrition program's coordinators and data entry officers at district level. Organized by the provincial health office, the 3-day workshop is aimed to train 24 coordinators and data officers on how to review data about malnutrition among U-5 children and pregnant and sucking mothers. The workshop is also aimed to assess the performance of malnutrition data indicators, to review their quality and the importance of supervision, and to provide data to health facilities that offer nutrition Source: Yemen News Agency
