The Wounded Foundation launched on Wednesday in Sana'a a project to distribute Ramadan food baskets to the wounded in Sana'a under the slogan "Sponsoring the wounded - strengthening the resilience of the wounded loyal". The 17,390,000-riyal project as a gift from the Iranian embassy targets 950 second-category wounded in Amanat al-Asimah. At the inauguration, the Executive Director of the Wounded Foundation, Dr. Ali Al-Dhahyani, pointed to the importance of the project to alleviate the suffering and pain of the wounded in light of the repercussions of the US-UK-Saudi-UAE aggression and blockade. He stressed the need for concerted governmental, community and popular efforts to take care of the wounded and provide them with medical and social care, praising the initiative of the Iranian embassy in Sana'a in providing this food basket to the wounded who wrote heroic epics in defending land, honor and sovereignty. Al-Dhahyani pointed out that the project comes within the projects of the Wounded Foundation, wh ich will be inaugurated during the holy month of Ramadan. He stated that the Foundation's projects translate the directives of the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyed. Abdul Malik Badr Al-Din Al-Houthi and the President of the Supreme Political Council, to pay attention and care for the wounded who sacrificed and defended Yemen, its sovereignty and independence. The Executive Director of the Wounded Foundation called on businessmen, philanthropists and the private sector to support and support the Foundation's efforts to enhance its role in serving and caring for the wounded and their families, and to alleviate their suffering in light of the conditions that the country is going through as a result of aggression and siege.
