Washington, WhatsApp Instant Messaging Platform has announced a new feature that allows users to organize events and manage important events directly within group conversations. The platform had launched a similar feature for users of "communities" earlier and had decided to make this useful feature available in regular group conversations. The new "Events" feature will allow users to create cards for different events. The name of the event can be marked with a description, date of stay, date and location, as well as the option to link the event to a voice or video call. The "Events" feature appears in the toolbar in the group chat window, when you press the attachment icon, as well as the option to share documents, photos and videos, as users will now find a new option called "Event". When the occasion card is created, it will appear to all members of the group. Group members can accept the invitation to participate by the occasion or reject it. The platform will also alert the participating members when the event arrives. WhatsApp ensures that all group conversations remain fully encrypted, and that new feature does not affect users' privacy, as no one outside the group has access to appropriate details. The "Events" feature makes it easier for group members to communicate and coordinate on various events, such as excursion parties, meetings and others, and provides an easy way to share all information on effectiveness, encourages interaction between group members and exchanges of comments and questions. The platform allows the event's creator to modify or cancel it if necessary, and the platform will send members notification of the new updates. The platform has started making this new feature available in the official and experimental versions of WhatsApp in Android, as well as iPhones, and will appear to all users gradually.
