RAMALLAH: Weather on Thursday is expected to continue to be very hot with a slight drop in temperature while remaining two degrees warmer than the annual average, according to the Palestinian Meteorological Department (PMD). Winds are light to moderate, westerly to northwesterly, and occasionally picking up in speed. Sea conditions will see waves of light to moderate height. As evening approaches, temperatures will become mild in mountainous regions and relatively warm elsewhere. Relatively hot to hot conditions are expected for Friday with a slight drop in temperature. A slight rise in temperature is expected on Saturday as weather continues to be hot. Antoher rise in temperature is expected on Sunday. Weather continues to be very hot as well. PMD warned citizens against exposure to direct sunlight for a long period, especially during peak hours, and of the danger of setting fires in areas where grasses and dry trees abound.
