Israel Continues Aggression on Jenin for 43 Days in a Row

Jenin: The Israeli occupation aggression on the city of Jenin and its camp enters its forty-third consecutive day today, which has so far killed 28 Palestinians and left dozens of injuries.

According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the Israeli occupation army expanded its aggression on the city of Jenin to include the eastern neighborhood of the city. Special forces stormed the al-Ghoul building in the neighborhood at dawn today, firing live bullets at youth Jihad Alawneh, 23, and preventing his transfer after he was injured, leading to his death.

The occupation forces also detained a youth from his home in the eastern neighborhood and sent military reinforcements accompanied by bulldozers that began to destroy several streets, including Al-Madaris Street, Suwaytat Street, reaching the village of Haddad, and Nazareth Street.

Occupation soldiers closed the Jenin-Nablus Street and the southern entrance to the city, with military vehicles stationed at Asfour roundabout. In the eastern neighborhood, residents were forced to evacuate their homes after soldiers used loudspeakers, specifically targeting Al-Saadiya neighborhood and the Al-Ghoul building.

Homes in the Khalid bin Al-Walid area and Halima Al-Saadiya area were searched amid the presence of armored vehicles. Electricity was cut off to parts of the city due to infrastructure destruction by occupation bulldozers.

The occupation continued to block all entrances to Jenin camp with earth mounds, expelling residents trying to return to their homes. Bulldozers and machinery were stationed around the camp, with military reinforcements sent to all entrances.

Approximately 20,000 residents of Jenin camp have been displaced, now spread across about 39 towns and local authorities. The systematic destruction has completely affected 120 homes and partially damaged dozens more.

The occupation forces have conducted 336 raids, subjected citizens to field investigations, and launched about 15 bombing operations with drones. Local and international press crews are being prevented from entering the camp, hindering monitoring of destruction and covering the occupation's practices against citizens.
