The National Center for Meteorology and Early Warning reported its forecasts for the weather conditions during Eid al-Adha holiday, from June 15 to 24. In a weather bulletin, a copy of which was received by the Yemeni News Agency (Saba), the center expected fair to partly cloudy and relatively hot weather with chances of scattered rain, reaching heavy at times, in the southwestern and central highlands of the country, with temperatures ranging between 27 and 35 degrees Celsius. The center advised citizens to stay away from flood streams and valley bottoms in areas where rain is expected, and to be careful while driving vehicles. It called for not being exposed to direct sunlight during the afternoon, especially for residents of desert , coastal areas, and for drinking plenty of fluids and refreshments in hot areas. The center also called on seafarers and fishermen to be careful of the high waves and sea turbulence around the Socotra Archipelago.
