The Local Water and Sanitation Corporation in the capital Sana'a has launched a project to rehabilitate the water network in select neighborhoods of al-Qaa in al-Tahrir District, funded by the corporation itself. Eng. Mohammed Mada'es, director of the corporation, stated that the project focuses on replacing the old and damaged network with polyethylene pipes for both the main network and home connections, covering a total length of 485 meters. He emphasized the project's significance in enhancing the water supply to the network and ensuring a continuous provision of drinking water services to residents. This initiative is part of the broader efforts by the leadership of the Local Water and Sanitation Corporation. Eng. Mada'es noted that the technical teams in the fourth region of the Water Corporation are actively working on rehabilitating the water network and installing the necessary lines and home connections in al-Qaa neighborhoods, adhering to established technical and engineering standards.
