Kut, The Wasit local government announced the readiness of Zurbatiyah border crossing with a capacity exceeding 200,000 visitors per day. Wasit Governor Mohammed Jamil Al-Mayah told the National Iraqi News Agency / NINA / that this capacity came after completing the border crossing development plan and according to the directives of the Prime Minister. He added that we raised the "Arbaeen Flag" through an official ceremony at the border at Zurbatiyah-Mehran crossing, in the presence of the Governor of Ilam with an official delegation representing the Islamic Republic, as well as the presence of the head of the Border Crossings Authority to announce the official start of receiving the visitors through Zurbatiyah border crossing.
