Ramallah: Vice President of the State of Palestine and Deputy Chairman of the Executive Committee of the Palestine Liberation Organization (PLO) Hussein al-Sheikh welcomed the New York Conference Declaration issued by the participating countries.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the declaration called for the recognition of the State of Palestine, the revival of the political process based on the two-state solution, the restoration of international legitimacy, an end to the war in the Gaza Strip, and the immediate and unhindered delivery of aid.
Al-Sheikh affirmed his commitment to the contents of President Mahmoud Abbas's letter to French President Emmanuel Macron and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman Al Saud.
