Jerusalem: Israeli colonists stormed the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound in occupied Jerusalem on Wednesday under the protection of Israeli occupation police. Eyewitnesses reported that dozens of colonists entered the compound in groups, conducted tours of its courtyards, and performed Talmudic rituals.
According to Palestine News and Information Agency - WAFA, the colonists were accompanied by Israeli occupation forces who provided protection during the incursion. The presence of the forces allowed the colonists to carry out their activities within the mosque's compound without interference.
The incident has heightened tensions in the area, as Al-Aqsa Mosque holds significant religious importance for both Muslims and Jews. The repeated incursions by Israeli colonists have been a source of contention and have sparked reactions from various communities and leaders.
