US Secretary of State Antony Blinken on Wednesday vowed his country would continue supporting Ukraine to defeat Russia. Blinken, who made a rare visit to Kyiv along with British counterpart David Lammy, said the visit seeks to back Ukraine to be restore its military, economic and diplomatic status. In a meeting with Ukrainian counterpart Andrii Sybiha, the US top diplomat said he would use the visit to hear directly from Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky and others about Kyivs current goals in the war and what Washington can do to help it. Zelensky has been urging Western countries to provide Ukraine with long-range missiles and lift restrictions on their use to strike deep in Russia. Source: Qatar News Agency
