The US Central Command announced today, Wednesday, that it had destroyed drone boats belonging to the Yemeni Ansar Allah group in the Red Sea, as part of military operations carried out in response to the group's attacks on ships that it says are linked to Israel, the United States and Britain. The US Central Command said, in an update via the "X" platform, that "the command forces succeeded, during the past 24 hours, in destroying three Houthi drone boats in the Red Sea." It added: "It was determined that these drone boats pose an imminent threat to US forces, coalition forces and commercial ships in the region." According to the US Central Command, "These measures are being taken to protect freedom of navigation and make international waters more protected and safer." Source: National Iraqi News Agency
