US Central Command announced that it destroyed 3 Houthi drone boats during the past 24 hours in the Red Sea that 'represented a threat to US forces, coalition forces, and commercial ships.' It said in a statement, "In the past 24 hours, US Central Command (USCENTCOM) forces conducted a self-defense engagement, destroying three unmanned surface ships (drones) belonging to the Houthis in the Red Sea." The statement added, "The command decided that these drones represent an imminent threat to American forces, coalition forces, and commercial ships in the region.
