Baghdad: US Ambassador to Iraq Alina Romanowski affirmed her commitment to working for the security and stability of Iraq. Ambassador Romanowski said on the 'X' website today, Saturday: 'The new US Consul General in Erbil, Steve Bittner, met with leaders of the Kurdistan Regional Government of Iraq to emphasize the importance of holding free and fair elections in the region on October 20.'
