The US Ambassador to Baghdad, Alina Romanowski, confirmed today, Tuesday, that the world's leading company, Itron, is ready to modernize the electricity grid in Iraq.

She said in a tweet today: "Itron, the world's leading company, is ready to modernize the electricity grid in Iraq by organizing energy distribution to Iraqi consumers, with American technology that can help eliminate electricity theft, reduce power outages, and provide reliable energy for Iraq."
