NABLUS: Israeli occupation forces today shot and critically injured a young Palestinian man at the Beit Furik checkpoint, east of Nablus, after he allegedly attempted to carry out a stabbing attack. The youth succumbed to his critical wounds hours later. The General Authority of Civil Affairs informed the Ministry of Health that an 18-year-old youth, who was shot earlier today by Israeli forces' live bullets following an alleged attack, succumbed to his serious wounds hours later. The youth was identified as Mahmoud Soud Titi. The occupation forces intensified their military reinforcement to the area in the aftermath of the alleged attack, closed the Beit Furik checkpoint and prevented movement in its vicinity.
