NABLUS: Several Israeli colonists, this evening, closed the road leading to the Huwara military checkpoint, south of Nablus, and prevented Palestinians from entering or exiting Nablus through the aforementioned checkpoint. To be noted, the Israeli soldiers reopened the Huwara checkpoint this morning only for two days because of the maintenance work on the Awarta checkpoint, which is the alternative way to entering and exiting Nablus. In a later development, the colonists attacked residents' vehicles with stones, said eyewitnesses. Several colonists pelted stones at vehicles passing near the roundabout of Salman Al-Farsi, in southern Nablus. However, no injuries or damage were reported.
