The Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA) warned of the danger of unexploded bombs scattered among the rubble of destroyed homes in the Gaza Strip. , Agency Commissioner Philippe Lazzarini said in a statement: 'Earlier this week, hundreds of thousands were forced out of Khan Yunis and Rafah in the south due to new evacuation orders issued by the Israeli authorities, the largest since October, affecting nearly a quarter of a million people.' The Commissioner-General of UNRWA explained that the grave danger threat ens children in particular, as they spend hours collecting water and food and are forced to walk long distances amid piles of accumulated waste that could cover unexploded ordnance. He called for an end to the ongoing displacement that the residents of the Gaza Strip are being forced into due to Israeli orders, which is making Palestinian citizens desperate. Lazzarini urged the parties to reach the long-awaited ceasefire agreement in the Gaza Strip without any further delay. Meanwhile, a young Palestinian man was martyred and 3 others were injured in the town of Beit Ur al-Tahta, west of Ramallah, when the Israeli army opened fire on their car. While the Israeli army stormed several Palestinian cities and towns yesterday evening and early today, most notably Jericho and Nablus, which led to the outbreak of violent confrontations between its forces and Palestinian youth.
