New York - Ma'an - The United Nations Children's Fund (UNICEF) stressed the need to end violence against children in the Gaza Strip, noting that there is no "safe place" for them in Gaza. This came in a post on her personal account on the "X" platform today, Tuesday, about the occupation forces bombing tents for the displaced in the courtyard of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir al-Balah in the central Gaza Strip. "Our screens are once again filled with images of children being killed and burned, and families trying to escape bombed tents," the organization said, stressing the need to "stop the horrific violence" against children and calling on the world to put an "immediate" end to the situation in Gaza. The Israeli genocide that has been ongoing for a year in the Gaza Strip has left more than 140,000 dead and wounded, and more than 10,000 missing, amid massive destruction and famine that has killed dozens of children and elderly people.
