Under Royal Directives, a Royal Jordanian Air Force (RJAF) C130 plane departed Saturday to evacuate Jordanians from Lebanon, following the ongoing events in the Arab country. Jordanian nationals will be transported onboard the plane and returned to Jordan, in coordination with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates. The operation comes as part of the Kingdom's efforts to evacuate Jordanian nationals, in times of crises and emergency events, by harnessing capabilities and capacities to ensure their safety and provide all necessary means for their safe return to their homeland. The plane, which was sent by the Jordanian Armed Forces (JAF), in coordination with the Jordanian Hashemite Charity Organization (JHCO), carried food, relief supplies, medicines and medical supplies. The aid aims to support some sectors in Lebanon to help overcome their difficult circumstances due to the shortage of these materials, based on its humanitarian and national duty.
