UN Secretary-General expressed his deep concern about the risk of further escalation in the region and continues to urge all to exercise utmost restraint. Yemeni news agency (Saba) reported earlier that the Israeli strikes targeted oil tanks in the port of Hodeida and the power station in the governorate, causing a fire to erupt in oil derivatives t anks. Yemeni Ministry of Health reported, shortly after, that the attack killed three persons and injured 87 others. An official source in the Yemeni government expressed condemnation in the strongest terms of the Israeli raids and the violation of the sovereignty of Yemeni lands, describing the Israeli raids as a clear violation of all international laws and norms.
