LONDON, Ukraine's President Volodymyr Zelensky called Thursday on the European leaders to show collective unity to confront attacks launched by Russia against his country. Speaking at European Political Community summit held in the UK, Zelensky said Russian missiles, drones and aircraft should be destroyed likewise Iran's drones and missiles. He stressed that a united Europe means that Russian President Vladimir Putin fails in its duty aimed at creating splits in the Continent. Zelensky elaborated that keeping united in these conditions will ensure a long-term security to Europe. Meanwhile, Zelensky expressed appreciation to European leaders, including British Prime Minister Keir Starmer and those who showed clear support to Ukraine's membership of the NATO. In an inaugural speech at the summit, Starmer urged the European leaders to keep united against Russia's danger, as he said, to the Continent. Established in 2022 upon a proposal of French President Emmanuel Macron, the summit contains some EU and n on-EU countries, with the aim of enhancing coordination and consultations regarding challenges facing the European Continent.
