Amman: UK House of Commons Speaker Lindsay Hoyle and an accompanying delegation visited on Sunday the Air Operations Battalion (AOB) at King Abdullah II Air Base in Al-Ghabawi, on the outskirts of Amman, to view the mechanism of loading humanitarian aid for airdrops to the Gaza Strip. The delegation was briefed on the tasks and duties carried out by the AOC and its role in airdrops. Britain participated in several airdrops on the Gaza Strip. The delegation lauded the pivotal role of the Jordan Armed Forces in unifying international efforts to deliver humanitarian aid to the Gaza Strip. Source: Jordan News Agency
