Under the theme "Humility is Far from Us," the event underscored the significance of Ashura as a symbol of loyalty to God, His Messenger, and the Prophet's family. Attendees included local officials such as Abdulfattah Ghallab and Mohammed al-Shabibi, who emphasized the importance of staying true to the teachings of Islam amid global challenges, particularly against forces of arrogance like America and Israel. Qasim al-Masawa, the provinces' undersecretary, highlighted the relevance of Imam Hussein's resistance against tyranny and injustice, drawing parallels to contemporary struggles faced by oppressed peoples, including Palestinians in Gaza. The event's organizers, including Bilal al-Dar and Abdulaziz al-Ahnoumi, stressed Imam Hussein's revolution as a guiding light for those confronting aggression, emphasizing its lessons for both Yemenis and Palestini ans enduring foreign interventions. The event concluded with reaffirmations of support for revolutionary decisions and solidarity with the Palestinian cause, echoing Imam Hussein's legacy of defiance against oppression.
