Security forces arrested two terrorist suspects on the Karkh side of Baghdad. The Baghdad Operations Command stated in a statement, 'A suspect wanted in accordance with Article 4/1 of terrorism was arrested in (Al-Ghuwaithat) area, south of Baghdad, in high-level coordination of the Baghdad Operations Intelligence and Security Department with a force from the 22nd Brigade, 17th Infantry Division.' It added: 'A joint force from the Federal Police and the National Security Service arrested another accused of terrorism in a controlled ambush in the 'Asia' neighborhood within the Doura region,' noting that the accused were handed over to the competent authorities.
