The Baghdad Operations Command announced the arrest of two suspects who shot at citizens and attempted to kill them in the "Rakia and Fadhel" area in Karkh. The Command stated in a statement that in order to reduce the phenomenon of loose weapons, tribal conflicts (terrorism of residential neighborhoods) and criminal crimes, a force from the Fifth Brigade, Second Division, Federal Police, was able to arrest two suspects who shot at citizens and attempted to kill them while they were irrigating their land. He explained that this came after receiving information from a citizen stating that there was gunfire within the area of responsibility. Immediately, a working team was formed, the entrances and exits of the area were closed, and they headed to the scene of the incident. A tight ambush was set up for them, and they were arrested and a medium weapon (BKC) and ammunition were seized in their possession, along with a motorcycle (Tik-Tok) in the area of 'Raqiya and Fadhel' next to Karkh.
