Federal Police Command forces arrested two persons accused of murder in Baghdad. The Command stated in a statement: 'Following the receipt of information that there was a quarrel and shooting in Al-Rashad area, east of the capital, Baghdad, a force from the 20th Brigade, 5th Division, Federal Police, proceeded to the scene of the incident, where it was confirmed that two people were killed and a child was injured as a result of a family dispute.' It added: 'The force executing the duty was able to cordon off the place and arrest those accused of committing the crime in record time, while seizing a Kalashnikov rifle from their possession. The accused, along with the seized weapon, were duly referred to the competent authorities to complete the investigative and legal procedures against them.' Source: National Iraqi News Agency
