Two people were injured in an armed attack south of Baghdad. A statement by the Baghdad Operations Command stated that some social media platforms circulated news stating: "An armed attack in the Abu Dashir area in Baghdad resulted in the injury of two people as an initial result" explaining that at 14:00 on Thursday, we were informed by one of the collaborators of a shooting incident within the sector of responsibility in the Abu Dashir area south of Baghdad. Immediately, a joint task force was formed from the Federal Police Mechanized Division and the intelligence services and moved to the scene of the incident. It was found that there was a quarrel and two people were injured as a result of gunfire due to family disputes. He added that after collecting information and reviewing surveillance cameras, the vehicle, its ownership and the perpetrators were revealed, and the search for them is still ongoing.
