KHAN YUNIS: Two civilians were killed and several others were injured this evening as Israeli warplanes bombed the Al-Mawasi area west of Khan Yunis in the southern Gaza Strip. Medical sources reported the killing of two young individuals and the injury of 10 others as a result of Israeli airstrikes targeting a house adjacent to an encampment housing displaced families in the Al-Mawasi area, located west of Khan Yunis. Simultaneously, Israeli warships targeted the northwestern areas of Khan Yunis city. Additionally, Israeli artillery shelled agricultural farmlands near the entrance of Al-Aqsa Martyrs Hospital in Deir Al-Balah in central Gaza. The ongoing Israeli aggression on Gaza since October 7, 2023, has resulted in 34,049 documented Palestinian fatalities so far, with the majority being children and women.
