Jenin - Ma'an - Two citizens were injured today, Thursday, by live bullets in the village of Kafr Qud, west of Jenin, while the occupation army is still besieging four houses in the city in addition to the municipality building. The Red Crescent reported that its crews transferred a young man and a 65-year-old citizen who were injured by live bullets in the thigh area to the hospital. The occupation army surrounded 4 houses in different areas of Jenin city: Beit Al-Souqi on Nablus Street, Beit Marshoud in Al-Marah, Beit Al-Baytawi in Al-Hashimiya, and a house in Al-Yamoun. The occupation forces targeted the besieged house on Nablus Street in Jenin with "Energa" shells. The occupation bulldozers destroyed a car of the Northern Electricity Company in the vicinity of Jenin Municipality. Jenin Governor Kamal Abu al-Rab said: The occupation forces are firing bullets and shells and are besieging the Jenin Municipality headquarters. We are inside the municipality headquarters and we hear the sounds of gunfire a nd clashes, and the occupation is trying to prevent ministers from arriving to hold a press conference inside the municipality headquarters. The occupation army continues its aggression on the city of Jenin for the ninth consecutive day, as the Israeli army announced yesterday the extension of its military operation in Jenin and its camp.
