A joint statement from the Ministries of Electricity and Natural Resources in the Kurdistan Region stated: We would like to inform citizen electricity subscribers that a drone attack on the Kormor field led to the cessation of gas supplies to power stations, which led to the cutting of about 2,500 megawatts of electricity. He added that employees of the Ministries of Electricity and Natural Resources are working with their partners to normalize the situation and resume gas supplies to power generation plants.
