A joint force in Basra arrested suspects and seized weapons in Al-Zubair. The Basra Governorate Police Command said in a statement: A joint force from the Basra Police Emergency Regiments, Intelligence, and Operations Command arrested two defendants and seized three Kalashnikov rifles and a hunting rifle, during a pre-emptive operation in Al-Zubair district. The statement indicated that this operation came within the framework of ongoing efforts to enhance security and stability in the governorate, as the forces carried out careful inspections that resulted in the arrest of the accused and the seizure of unlicensed weapons.
