Turkish President Recep Tayyip Erdogan on Wednesday cautioned against the spreading of the ongoing war by the Israeli occupation on the Gaza Strip. "(Israeli occupation prime minister) Netanyahu's plans to spread the war across the region will lead to a major catastrophe," he warned while addressing a meeting of the ruling party's parliamentary bloc. Regarding Lebanon, he called on all regional countries to stand with Lebanon against the Israeli occupation's invasion plan, saying: "Israel, which has devastated Gaza, is now setting its sights on Lebanon." The Turkish president called on European countries to take the same stance as Norway, Ireland and Slovenia, which had recently recognized the State of Palestine. Source: Kuwait News Agency
