The Turkish parliament passed a resolution regarding deploying Turkish armed forces to Somalia for two years. Turkiye's Anadolu news agency reported that this move comes within the framework of the defense cooperation agreement between Turkiye and Somalia, to ensure security and stability in Somalia and to restructure the Somali defense and security forces.
