The Turkish Ministry of Defense announced the killing of 27 PKK militants during the current week in northern Iraq, Syria and inside the country. The media advisor to the Turkish Ministry of Defense, Zaki Akturk, said in a press conference held today in the capital, Ankara, that his country's forces neutralized 637 terrorists during the first three months of this year. In this regard, he explained that 280 terrorists were neutralized in northern Iraq, and 393 terrorists were neutralized in northern Syria. He stressed that Turkey continues its efforts to maintain stability in Syria and the safe return of Syrians to their country. He stated that the Turkish army responded to the skirmishes of PKK militants aim to destabilize the security and peace environment in northern Syria.
