The Turkish Ministry of Foreign Affairs condemned the Israeli attack on the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip. The Turkish Foreign Ministry said in a statement on Sunday: 'We condemn the Israeli attack on the Nuseirat refugee camp in Gaza, which led to the killing of hundreds of Palestinian civilians.' It added: With this latest 'brutal attack,' Israel has added a new crime to its crimes committed against the Palestinian people and a new confirmation of its brutal approach. In its statement, the Turkish Foreign Ministry called on the institutions responsible for maintaining international peace and security, especially the UN Security Council, to adhere to their responsibilities in order to stop Israel, which is being tried in the International Court of Justice for violating its obligations arising from the 1948 United Nations Convention on the Prevention of Genocide, from committing these crimes. Yesterday, Saturday, Israel committed a new massacre in the Nuseirat camp in the Gaza Strip, killing 210 Palesti nians and wounding more than 400 others after a violent artillery and air bombardment that targeted the camp.
