Trump’s Middle East Peace Promise Gains Support Among Arab Voters, Report.

Dateline: Washington: US President-elect Donald Trump made a surprising breakthrough at the end of his campaign, winning over a large number of Arab voters with his pledge to end violence in the Middle East, according to the Washington Times. According to Jordan News Agency, Trump's new supporters are now celebrating his victory, confident that he will fulfill his promise as the Israeli occupation continues its military operations in both Gaza and Lebanon. In Dearborn, the largest Arab American community in the United States, early results showed Trump narrowly winning, a marked shift from 2020 when President Joe Biden won the state. "During an overnight rally at a popular cafe that turned into a party during the early morning hours, people got the message that Trump seeks peace in the Middle East and the world," said Bill Bazzi, the Lebanese-American mayor of Dearborn Heights. Bazzi rejected what he described as a distortion of the truth about Trump's "Muslim ban" in his previous term, noting that it was n othing more than a security tightening linked to unstable countries to prevent members of the Daesh terrorist organization from entering the United States. Bazzi, a former Marine who supported Trump at his recent campaign rallies, added that he is in contact with high-level figures in the incoming administration who have reassured him that "one of the things Trump is pushing for is an end to war, and he wants more diplomacy."
