The Ministry of Transport condemned on Tuesday the actions of the aggression mercenaries for suspending flights to the sole destination (Sana'a - Amman - Sana'a) since the beginning of June. In a statement, the ministry considered the suspension of flights from Sana'a International Airport to Jordan by the American, Saudi, and Emirati aggression mercenaries as a deliberate criminal act, devoid of all religious, humanitarian, national, legal, and international values, treaties, charters, and agreements that criminalize such acts that reflect hatred towards the resilient Yemeni people in the face of aggression for more than nine years. The statement emphasized that the aggression mercenaries did not consider the humanitarian nature of operating these flights and their direct negative impact on traveling citizens, especially patients suffering from chronic and malignant diseases, which has increased their suffering and led to overcrowding of those stranded abroad. It pointed out that the suspension of the so le destination to Jordan for the Yemeni people is a pressure tactic and a bargaining chip to serve the American, British, and Israeli aggression on the homeland due to its honorable and supportive stance towards the Palestinian cause in general and Gaza in particular, as a result of the war crimes and genocide committed by the Zionist enemy. The statement urged Yemeni Airways, as the national carrier and owned by the Yemeni people, to swiftly schedule flights from Sana'a to Amman and other destinations and operate neutrally without discrimination or the use of the company for political pressure. The Ministry of Transport held Yemeni Airways responsible for the suspension of flights from Sana'a Airport, which constitutes an attack on the legal and humanitarian rights of citizens, patients, students, and expatriates, leading to their delayed arrival at Queen Alia Airport in Jordan and their humanitarian and health suffering, not to mention the financial and psychological burdens they will bear due to the susp ension of flights from Sana'a to Amman and back.
