The General Authority for Awqaf's office in Dhamar province on Wednesday conducted a training workshop focused on the financial management of endowments, targeting directors of the authority's offices from various directorates. The workshop, attended by 25 participants, aimed to enhance skills in managing accounts related to revenue and banking operations. Faisal al-Hutfi, director of the Dhamar office, emphasized the necessity of safeguarding endowment funds, fulfilling donor intentions, and implementing legal rulings regarding endowment properties. Al-Hutfi highlighted the workshop's role in addressing performance challenges, creating a comprehensive database for endowment properties, and improving the recording of mosque needs and utility costs. He reiterated the importance of accountability for endowment agents to ensure that donations are utilized effectively for the intended purposes, particularly in supporting mosques and community needs.
