King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSRelief) on Tuesday celebrated graduation of a number of trainees from the project: "Improving the situation of Syrian refugees and host communities in Amman and Irbid governorates by providing mental health and child protection services," which is funded by the center, in cooperation with International Medical Corps (IMC). Speaking at the graduation ceremony, Assistant Governor of Irbid, Ghaith Obeidat, said Jordan has spared no effort in extending support and providing relief to refugees to secure a safe haven for them. Obeidat added that this effort is based on Jordan's humanitarian, moral and national values ???? despite the Kingdom's difficult economic conditions, scarcity of resources and challenges triggered by the region's conflicts. For his part, IMC Director, Majid Masadeh, said this international, non-profit humanitarian organization began its work in Jordan a long time ago and works to provide medical services, psychological care, and protection at clinics and care centers nationwide. Masadeh added that an IMC branch was opened within Ministry of Social Development, affiliated with the Ministry of Health, to implement its goals and provide development services. During the ceremony, which was attended by director of the KSRelief's Jordan office, Nayef bin Saleh Shammari, and IMC head in Amman, Dr. Ahmed Bawa'ana, the trainees were honored and gifts were distributed to beneficiaries of the training project.
