The Ministry of Interior announced the arrest of 3 defendants wanted in accordance with the provisions of Article (405) of the Penal Code in Wasit Governorate. The Ministry stated in a statement: 'Detachments of the Numaniyah Police Department within the Wasit Governorate Police Command arrested 3 defendants wanted judicially in accordance with the provisions of Article (405) of the Iraqi Penal Code.' It added: "This came during the security practices conducted by Wasit police formations to pursue wanted persons and implement arrest warrants.
