BERLIN, Aug 23 (KUNA) -- At least three persons were killed and seven others injured when a knifeman stabbed passersby randomly in Solingen city, a few miles from Dusseldorf, west Germany, on Friday night. Six of the injured are in critical condition, the local newspaper Solinger Tageblatt quoted police sources as saying. The security services launched a manhunt for the knifeman but no arrests were reported so far. The horrific attack took place at 9.45 pm. at the usually quiet Fronhof square in the city which was celebrating the three-day Festival of Diversity. Source: Kuwait News Agency
