Three Palestinian children were killed in Kamal Adwan Hospital in the northern Gaza Strip as a result of a power outage resulting from running out of fuel and the inability to operate the oxygen station, raising the death toll of premature infants since the beginning of the aggression on seven since October 7th. It is noteworthy that 51 patients, including 4 premature babies, died in the Al-Shifa Complex, due to a power outage after the fuel ran out, and the siege Israeli imposed on the complex between 11 and 18 November. 26 out of 35 hospitals and 52 out of 72 primary health care clinics in the Gaza Strip are out of service, which means more than two-thirds, due to damage caused by bombing or lack of fuel, and the remaining nine hospitals are partially operating. Of the 24 hospitals that have the capacity to receive inpatients in the north, there is one hospital, the Arab National Baptist Hospital in Gaza, which is currently operating and receiving patients under great difficulties. 18 hospitals have be en closed and evacuated since the beginning of the aggression, including three hospitals in the past five days: Al-Nasr, Al-Rantisi, and Al-Quds. Last Sunday, 31 premature babies were evacuated from the Shifa Complex in Gaza City and transported via Red Crescent vehicles to the Emirates Crescent Hospital in Rafah, under the coordination of the World Health Organization and the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs (OCHA).
