The Yemeni Houthi group announced on Sunday that the number of victims of the Israeli attack on Hodeidah Governorate in western Yemen had risen to 3 martyrs and 87 wounded, while the Israeli occupation army announced this morning that it had intercepted a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen and was on its way towards Israeli territory. The Houthi-run Al-Masirah satellite channel quoted the Ministry of Health and Population in the Sanaa government as saying, "The toll of the Israeli aggression on Hodeidah has risen to 3 martyrs and 87 wounded." The director of Al-Thawra General Hospital in Hodeidah Governorate said, 'Those injured as a result of the Zionist bombing were distributed to the city's hospitals and are receiving medical care.' Yesterday, Saturday, Israeli aircraft launched air strikes targeting the port of Hodeidah, its fuel tanks, and the electricity station, killing two people and wounding 80 others with various burns according to the Houthi Ministry of Health. On the other hand, th e Israeli occupation army announced this morning the interception of a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen, saying in a statement, 'The air defense succeeded in intercepting a surface-to-surface missile launched from Yemen towards Israel.' It added that the interception took place "through the 'Hatz 3' system," claiming that the missile did not penetrate Israeli territory, and warnings were activated for fear of shrapnel falling during the interception process, while there was no immediate comment from the Yemeni Houthi group regarding the missile. The Houthi group confirmed that the Israeli attack on Hodeidah 'will only increase its determination and steadfastness' in supporting the Gaza Strip, and vowed operations that would 'disrupt' Tel Aviv in response to the attack, according to blog posts on X-platform for the group's speaker Mohammed Abdulsalam, and the member of the Supreme Political Council, Bahaa Mohammed Ali al-Houthi .
