The General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs announced the arrest of three drug dealers with 7 kg of crystal meth in Anbar. The Directorate stated in a statement that based on the directives of the Minister of Interior, Abdul Amir Al-Shammari, a specialized working team was formed under the supervision of the Director General of Narcotics Affairs, Major General Ahmed Al-Zarkani, and headed by the Director of the Anbar Narcotics Affairs Directorate. In a precise qualitative intelligence operation that lasted for (30) consecutive days, and with a tight ambush, three dealers were arrested red-handed in possession of (7) kilograms of crystal meth less than 24 hours after the General Directorate of Narcotics Affairs carried out a qualitative operation that resulted in the seizure of (20) kilograms of crystal meth in Maysan and Basra and the arrest of its dealers.
