The Federal Intelligence and Investigation Agency detachments arrested three suspects of drug trafficking and murder in Baghdad. The agency stated in a statement that: "According to accurate intelligence information, the Intelligence Agency detachments (Federal Police Intelligence Directorate) carried out, in cooperation with the Federal Police forces, a qualitative operation characterized by accuracy and speed, which resulted in the arrest of three suspects and seized in their possession narcotic substances, one of whom is wanted under Article (405) of murder." It explained: "The operation was carried out by raiding their homes after obtaining the necessary judicial approvals, and narcotic substances, drug abuse devices, and a number of mobile phones were seized in their possession, and they were referred to the competent investigative authorities."
